Well I became a designer because I couldn't be a rock star. It seems there are a lot of drummers in the world.
I started out when I was 16 and I had to go to a "special" school for kids who couldn't get along with others. ;) It just so happens the school had a full service graphic arts class. It had everything; two-color Ryobi presses, Macintosh IIe's, darkrooms, screen printers and a sassy, tough-as-nails instructor who kicked my butt for 3 hours every day. Good thing she was also good lookin'...I wouldn't have taken a dude as seriously.
Since the those days I have been fortunate enough to do artwork and production for some of the Pacific Northwest's highest profile clients; Starbucks, Eddie Bauer, Nordstrom, Microsoft and many others.
