Artwork for a sermon series on 1 & 2 Thessalonians about the gospel hope in and readiness for Christ's second coming in the last days. The design adapts the painting "The Ascension" by Philips Wouwerman to reflect Paul's message in 1 Thessalonians 4:16 that Christ will descend with the angels' acclamation similarly to the way he ascended in Acts 1 as the angels tell the disciples in verse 11.
