Finish The Phrase GAME

The winter season is full of fun. Finish The Phrase: Winter Edition captures all the joy of the holidays. Play this game with a large or small group with little preparation. Your group will love the interaction as everyone gets to play. SETUP: To begin playing Finish The Phrase: Christmas Edition, the leader will choose two individuals to come forward to be the representatives of an allotted portion of the room. Everyone in the room will need something to write on and something to write with. The room can be divided however you would like, however, splitting it down the middle may be the easiest. PLAY: Each representative at the front of the room will write down their answer to each word/round on their piece of paper without anyone else knowing. After each word/round, the leader will have the representatives up front announce their answer. For every match on their side of the room a point will be awarded. MEDIA: After each word is displayed for 15 seconds, either pause the video or go to a blank slide until the leader can count up the total points per team for that word/round. After all the words/rounds are over, the team with the most total points wins. POWERPOINT: For the PowerPoint file, begin on the title slide and advance between words and blank slides as the leader facilitates the 15 second rounds and the counting of points. End the game on the title slide. PRO PRESENTER: For the Pro Presenter file, begin on the title slide and advance between words and blank slides as the leader facilitates the 15 second rounds and the counting of points. End the game on the title slide. VIDEO: For the Video file, play from the beginning and pause after each 15 second count down to record points. Play the video again for the next word until the end.
